I did have chicken pox in the 3rd grade and I have had some 'chicken pock' bubbles right on my old chicken pock scar on my face a few different times over the past couple years (since I started Adderall) . My eyes feel like they have sand in them and get red rimmed and itchy around them. When I asked my NP about it she said it sounded like viral symptoms. From what I have read, I agree.
My Lyme/nerve/muscle symptoms such as muscle cramps and twitches, feeling like bugs are crawling on me, tinnitis and floaters in my vision continue to be stable or improve. In the case of the 'bugs crawling' sensation, I realized a couple weeks ago that it was gone!
It used to be that I would constantly have the feeling of a tiny ant or bug crawling across my skin. I would often flip on the light or look to see if there was a bug, and there never was. When I started taking Adderall a couple years ago, during the day while the Adderall was in effect, that stopped, but in the evening it would come back as the Adderall wore off. Now I don't have it at all anymore! The other thing that has faded away are the muscle twitches and cramping. I used to have muscle twitches for weeks on end. On in particular under my eye drove me nuts.
I had one minor muscle cramp in my calf, very brief a few days ago, but other than that, I think I have had one or two over the past few months. As far as the muscle twitches, I have had maybe one or two minor, short lived ones over the past few months.
Hunter is still feeling great. He had another day of exhaustion (actually, a long morning) last week where he couldn't function to go to school in the am. But as long as he sleeps in, when he wakes up he feels good and can have a normal day of activity. In fact, he worked on his car for 5 hours that day after he got his rest. He is still a teenager and his body is coming out of a life-long illness, so if he needs sleep, it's sleep he shall have! His body needs to repair itself, and seeing such a FAST recovery from his exhaustion bouts is very encouraging.
Normally, a bout of exhaustion for him would last 3-4 days to a week. And so far, he has not had any more super angry 'black cloud' days. He's much more outgoing overall, talkative and happy. This wonderful personality change is becoming more and more 'who he is' ;) I'm so thankful!
