Here is the question asked by Theresa:
Hello Stacey, I have an appt with my Dr to review on how to use the nebulizer and will begin treatment soon. My question is, I have hashimoto's thyroid which I believe is due to Lyme. However, those of us with thyroid problems are SUPER Sensitive to iodine. I am now concerned this will not work for me if there is any iodine in it and may cause me to have a goiter again. iodine seems to be fuel on the fire so to speak... any comments or do you know of anyone with thyroid problems that has used Lyme-N? and results? and/or problems? thank you so much for your webpage and blogs!
Not sure how to answer Theresa and not wanting to give any inaccurate information, I contacted, Jeanne and she contacted GG and this was the response:
"There is no iodine in Lyme-N. She does not need to worry about it. Also, what is in Lyme-N is inorganic. So you can’t be allergic to it.
Many people with Lyme have thyroid problems, so, yes, many have had thyroid problems that are treated with Lyme-N. After treatment, many people with thyroid issues have it go away over the following year after Lyme-N. Mainly, because spirochetes caused the issue and after they are eliminated, the thyroid is able to go back to normal.
GG also said that the iodine this person is talking about causing problems with their thyroid, is the “organic” form of iodine. Like what you find in fish. Everything is Lyme-N is “inorganic”."
I hope some of you found this helpful!
